Senate Journal Page: 1692
HB 1259 grows the size and scope of government by expanding the rural veterinarian incentive program. Any additional needs of veterinarians in rural areas is an issue best solved by the free market rather than the Texas Legislature. Rather than distributing tax dollars to subsidize veterinarians, Texas lawmakers should be focused on reducing taxes on all Texans.
