HB 3012 by Geren: Allowing the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association or the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association to conduct charitable raffles

HB 3012 allows the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association or the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association to conduct charitable raffles which is currently not allowed under the law. Rather than granting special treatment to select organizations, the Texas Legislature should prohibit charitable raffles altogether or allow a broad class of entities to conduct them.
