About State Rep. Gene Wu

A former prosecutor in the Harris County District Attorney's Office, Gene is currently in private practice.Gene grew up in Southwest Houston and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M University, and a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Texas at Austin. Then continued his education at the South Texas College of Law in Houston. He and his wife, a television journalist, live in Houston.
