About State Rep. John Raney

John Raney is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School and Texas A&M University where he obtained a BBA Degree in Marketing. He founded Texas Aggieland Bookstore in 1969 while still attending Texas A&M. He has been married to his wife, Elizabeth, for 37 years and they have two daughters. Rep. Raney was elected to the Texas House of Representatives in a special election in December 2011.
