About State Rep. Leighton Schubert

Leighton Schubert was elected in a special election while the 84th Legislative Session was already underway.

Prior to being elected, he served in the Harris County Office of Legislative Relations, as a law clerk for the Attorney General of Texas, and as a staff assistant to a U.S. Senator.

Schubert graduated form Snook High School before attending Texas A&M University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication. He went on to earn his law degree from South Texas College of Law.
