About State Rep. Ron Simmons

Having grown up in rural southern Arkansas, Ron Simmons began his education at the Southern Arkansas University, where he met his wife Lisa of 32 years; with whom he has three adult children.  He furthered his education at Dallas Baptist University, where he earned a Bachelors in Business, and subsequently began his work in the financial industry.  Ron co-founded Retirement Advisors of America and continues to serve as its Chairman today, and has also served as a consultant to businesses in the areas of financial management, strategic planning, and an expert on business related issues associated with commercial litigation.  He currently attends their local Prestonwood Church, where he serves an active role as a teacher in Bible fellowship and in the past as Director from 2007-2009.
