  Representative McClendon is a Businesswoman from San Antonio, Texas. She earned a BA from Texas Southern University and a Masters of Art from Webster University. Representative McClendon is founder of the Community Crime Prevention Network, Inc., and President and CEO of RJMcClendon and Co. She is married to Lt. Colonel (retired) Denver McClendon and together they have four adult children and 8 grandchildren. Representative McClendon has served in the Texas House of Representatives since 1996.
