A native Texan raised in Richardson, Scott Turner is a former football player for the Denver Broncos, businessman and motivational speaker. He attended the University of Illinois, where he played football, ran track, and earned a degree in speech communication, and met his current wife of fifteen years. He founded SPEAKAWORD, a motivational speaking company, and currently serves as director of Business Development for Systemware, Inc. He also serves as a deacon, Bible Fellowship class leader, and occasional guest pastor at Prestonwood Church of Plano, as well as a board member for the Presbyterian Hospital’s Presidents Leadership Council, Dallas Metropolitan YMCA Board of Directors.
