HB 2812 by Murphy: Providing state loans to local governments

House Record Vote: 438
Record Vote: 438
HB 2812 provides short-term loans to local governments seeking federal dollars. It is irresponsible for Texas to tie up taxpayer dollars for federal dollars that cities are seeking. Cities in need of federal dollars should not have to rely on the state to step in and act a fail-safe with no specified time limit.
