About State Rep. Lina Ortega

Lina Ortega graduated from El Paso High School and attended UT-El Paso before graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Government. She later received her law degree at the University of Texas School of Law.

She served as an assistant federal public defender in El Paso before joining an El Paso law firm and began 30 years of private practice.
